After a theatrical debut on festivals and an award-winning career, "A Ferre" Netflix - OS Geeks

After making his debut in cinema and rental and purchasing platforms last year, the award-winning “fever”, By Maya Da-rin, The day can also be seen on Netflix Brasil 3 February. During its festival career, the film has received 29 awards so far and is to be shown in more than 60 festivals around the world. At its world premiere at the Locarno Festival in Switzerland, “A Forest” won three awards: Golden Leopard for Best Actor, Regis Mairupu, International Critic Award for FIPRESCI and “Environmental Quality of Life” Award.

Ferre was also voted Best Film at festivals in France, China, Argentina, Portugal, America, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Germany and Spain. In Brazil, the film won five candangos at the 52nd Festival de Brasilia – Best Feature Film, Best Directing, Best Actor for Regis Mirupu, Best Sound and Best Photography – Rio E Best Film and Best Directing and Special Awards at the Festival Best sound in Recife International Cinema Window.

SYNOPSIS

Desana Indian, 45, is looking for a cargo port in Justino, Manaus. As his daughter prepares to study medicine in Brasilia, he is seized with a mysterious fever that takes him back to his village, from where he left twenty years ago.
