Fans urge Anton du Beck to become permanent judge as he replaces Pearl

Strictly Come Dancing fans have demanded Anton du Beck to be the permanent judge on the show.

The professional dancer replaced Moti Mabusa this evening as she is separated for two weeks.

Moti had left the UK for a jet to Germany for emergencies, meaning she would not be on display for a fortnight.

And Anton was a big hit with the audience, asking him to become a permanent fixture on the show.

From tying her knots to other judges to her comments to fellow dancers, the audience loved her.

Viewers came up with a comment to comment on Twitter: “Anton is saving the shadows for the moment. #Strictly”

However another commented: “@bbcstricly @TheAntonDuBeke OK it’s been strictly for the last few years, just give Anton the role of a full time judge!

“We love him! It’s like he’s always been! #Strictly.”

The third wrote: “Anton made my night (and year) as a judge! Please, please we can keep him ???! #Strictly.”

“Anton Lane and Bruce are doing some weird mixing channels. # Strictly,” said another.

One commented: “ATheAntonDuBeke talent to present Anton as a judge on #Strict.”

* Let’s dance strictly on BBC One last night
