Globo shows the film Meow Namorado ich o Bicho in an afternoon session on Wednesday (12th) at 3pm (Brasilia time). Launched in 2016, the comedy portrays the story of a young woman whose life changes completely after a cosmic event.

In the plot, Emma (Kate Mikusi) moves to the United States just to San Francisco. She always wanted to find the perfect lover, but what she didn’t think her cat and dog would become two amazing boys – and fell for her – was a night when the stars were lined up.

Emma does not realize that she is, in fact, a suicidal animal. The woman then goes on a romantic date with the two – and the experiences are unusual. The protagonist’s life becomes more confusing when his best friend in the new city of Karl (Sean Astin) also falls in love with him.

Directed and written by Finn Taylor, the film also stars Steve Howe, Hanna Ma Lee, Justin Chatwin and Ileana Douglas.
