Jyoti Shukla attended a two-hour meeting at the unit, saw all the facilities and found all the information very acknowledging.
The Consul came to Marilia at the invitation of UNIMAR (University of Marilia) for an activity at the Integrated Research and Extension Center of the Department of International Relations.
“She was very friendly, knowledgeable and eager to get to know us. I wanted to get to know our work in depth, then visit the departments and I believe in continuing new conversations very briefly”, said Carlos Francisco Bittencourt Jorge, president of the association.
He highlighted the importance of technological development in India, which is one of the most important economies in the world, and the integration and exchange of information.
“We have a lot to learn from them. They excited me, in addition to showing the potential of India as a whole,” said board vice-chairman Valeria Cristina Tamião de Oliveira, a technology businesswoman who is already studying the possibility of visiting India soon.
In addition to her position at the Consulate, Jyoti Shukla is an economist, academic, and former Chairperson of the Finance Commission of Rajasthan, India.
