Yegor Catatau’s route through Vitoria came to an end. The striker’s contract expiration was published in the CBF’s Daily Newsletter (BID) on Monday afternoon (30). As a result, he leaves the club less than six months after his arrival.
Hired in early March, Catatau defended Rubro-Negro in 27 matches. He scored three goals and provided one assist. The last time he was on the field was on 31 July with Awai in a 0–0 draw for Serie B.
The striker was at LEO which was loaned by Madureira, a club with which he has a contract. His next destination should be football in India. With offers from outside Brazil, Catatau struck a deal with Rubro-Negro for an amicable termination.
If the talks go through, it will be Caato’s first experience outside Brazil. In addition to Madureira and Vittoria, the athlete has passed through Vasco, Barra da Tijuca and Boa Esporte in its course.
