Radio City Rockets performs on November 28, 2018 at the Rockefeller Center in New York City ahead of the 86th Annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Radio City Rocket will take the stage for Radio City Christmas Fantastic 2020 tonight, although it will not be open to the public this year due to Covid-19. The traditional Christmas festivities will be on NBC.

The holiday special, “Radio City Rockets – Christmas Fantastic Starring Radio – at Home Holiday Special”, aired on NBC at 10pm Eastern time, aired on NBC. The show follows NBC’s “Christmas at the Rockefeller Center.”

Radio City Rockets are starring in their traditional holiday show tonight

Radio City Christmas is one of New York City’s favorite Christmas programs. Normally, viewers watch the show live while a TV viewer watches from home, but this year, the festival will only air online and on TV.

Savana Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, co-anchors for NBC News’ Today, will host the event, according to QNS. Special presentations and holiday messages will include Jenna Diwan, Hopi Goldberg, Josh Groben, Carla Hall, Padma Lakshmi and John Legend. The special lasts up to an hour.

The live performance of the 2020 Radio City Christmas spectacle was canceled in August

No one will see the Rockets’ holiday performance this year. Back in August, the entertainment management company announced that it was canceling live shows and issuing refunds to those who had already purchased tickets, hoping that the coronavirus would be a cause for concern by the end of the year.

The Radio City Rockets website says, “We are sorry that Chase’s Radio City Rockets actor’s Christmas 2020 production has been canceled due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 epidemic.” “We are disappointed for everyone involved in the show, as well as for the many fans who make the Christmas show a part of their holiday tradition. We look forward to welcoming viewers to the 2021 production, which is now on sale. All tickets for the 2020 production will be automatically refunded at the time of purchase. ”

For the first time in almost 90 years, celebrities were not performing live for the holidays. CNN Reported.
