Realme opens first offline mega store in India and promises expansion

Known for its aggressive online sales strategy, Realme knows it needs to expand its offline presence across multiple countries. This week, the brand announced Model store inaugurated in Ahmedabad cityin India.

According to the Chinese manufacturer, the opening of the space should take place on June 1 and the staff is currently undergoing training.

Realme opened its first offline store in India in August 2020 and has promised to open at least 300 stores in the future. The new unit will be the largest and will be considered as the “anchor” and model for future units.

According to official photos and reports from people passing by the store, the unit is large and has more than one floor. This is because, apart from smartphones, the establishment will also be used to present the entire ecosystem of the company to the public.

The store will sell cell phones, TVs, IoT devices, dolls, accessories and other leisure gadgets.

To begin with, Realme should also offer a gift card to the first 100 consumers, apart from highlighting a series of promotional features with special prices.

It is worth remembering that Realme is based in Brazil and the Chinese company has managed to achieve above-average growth in Europe.

In the first quarter of this year, the company sold 6 million smartphones and despite the inflationary crisis, the executives expect to maintain a good sales rate through 2022.
