Everything on the Internet is constantly changing, and the global pandemic, which has significantly changed our life habits, is having a significant impact on change. This is fully reflected in the ranking of the most popular websites, where there have been quite a few tag changes.
According to Cloudflare, TikTok.com has become the most popular site in 2021. The Chinese-made social network surpassed last year’s leader, Google.com. There was a lot of conflict between the two portals, but the festive period gave TikTok the first place.
It is reported that the Chinese-powered TikTok platform reached the top for the first time on February 17 this year, and has been rising almost daily since August 10. And while Google has sometimes been able to outperform its competitors in terms of popularity, TikTok has made a big profit during the holidays, including the big sales of the year.
We rank Facebook.com third among the most popular websites, then Microsoft.com, and Apple’s Page comes in the top five. Here’s what the top ten look like:
