Dorival Junior comments on the Brazilian team’s preparations for friendly matches and the Copa America
The Brazilian team on Sunday night concluded the first phase of its training in the United States, where it is preparing for the Copa America.
In his first day of work, coach Dorival Junior had 17 players available – except for defender Gabriel Magalhaes, who is recovering from a right shoulder injury and did not take to the field.
The next time they return to work, on Tuesday, the Seleção will have a large group, including four team members who played in Brazilian football, as well as midfielder Ederson, who played for Atalanta this Sunday.
After four days of activities in the United States, the players will have a day off this Monday.
Dorival Jr. will only have his full squad available on Wednesday, when the Real Madrid trio that won the Champions League last Saturday arrives: Eder Militao, Rodrygo and Vini Jr.
Brazil will play a friendly against Mexico on Saturday and face the United States on the 12th. The Copa America begins on the 24th against Costa Rica.
