Oscar 2021 takes place on the night of the next 25 and the controversy is still quite complicated in a year marked by the closure of cinemas around the world. Netflix did well to score 34 nominations, however, according to awards experts, it would not be this time that it would carry the iconic statue of the best film – the honor should be with Ghumantu (2020). Chadwick Boseman (1976–2020) has everything to become an Oscar winner with the Best Actor Trophy for The Supreme Voice of the Blues (2020).

According to Page, Nomadland would win the night’s top award, and its director Chloe Zhao would become the second woman to win the director’s statue – the first being Catherine Bigelow, War on Terror, in 2009. She has already been recognized in these two categories at the feature film Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Awards, two critical interviews for the Oscars.
Two films have a chance to spoil the Nomadland Party: Chicago 7, a Netflix production based on real events, and Minari, a production that only costs $ 2 million and has won critics and critics alike. Voters with six nominations.
Posthumous award
A favorite in the Best Actor category, Chadwick Bosman would make history if the prophecy came true: he would be only the second interpreter to win in the post-death category – the first by Peter Finch (1916–1977), by Redd de Intrigas, at the ceremony in 1977. According to the Gold Derby, his award is one of the biggest beards of Oscar 2021.
Among the actresses, Kerry Mulligan hopes to win for her acclaimed work on Sundar Vengeance (2020). SAG Awards to Billy Holiday (2021), and Viola Davis, Bosman’s partner in the Voila Davis of the Blues. The two also have a chance at the Oscars, but it looks like Carrie will win.
In the supporting categories, the preferred Veteran youth are from Yoo-jung, Minari. Nicknamed “South Korea’s Meryl Streep”, the 73-year-old actress debut packed with her SAG win at the Top Cinema Award – which has been voted on by other actors. But Glenn Close can surprise and once in a dream, in a way take the statue to the consolation medal – the artist is already in his eighth nomination, without ever winning.
Daniel Kaluuya, whose nomination as a supporting actor by Judas and the Black Messiah (2021) caused controversy because he is the film’s protagonist, should clear up any controversy and become an Oscar winner. Its biggest obstacle is comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, who shines in a dramatic role in Chicago’s The 7.
Laura Poussini no Oscar
Beloved by the Brazilian public and in love with Brazil, Italian Laura Possini competes for an Oscar from the film Roja a Momo (2020) for the best song from Ayo Si. The interpreter, however, is a strong contender in Leslie Odom Jr. from the film One Night in Miami (2021). The cast barely takes an Oscar for the supporting actor, but is a favorite with the song Speak Now. The Laura Gold Derby comes in favor of critics and experts.
And Disney will once again claim its supremacy in the animation category with a statue for Soul (2020). The feature film released last Christmas is a favorite, but you can’t dismiss a zebra with the acclaimed Wolfwalkers (2020) from Apple TV +.
