3. Leading with Empathy

An empirical manager is important to keep employees engaged. The vast majority of employees (97%) who would recommend their manager report that they are feeling and understanding.

In addition, 90% of employees who will advise their manager that they have a strong sense of belonging to the company, and are twice as likely to be highly engaged.

Empathic leadership involves investing in individual team members and listening to and acting on employee needs.
