Inter Miami, David Beckham’s team that competes in MLS (Major League Soccer) in the United States, is in talks to hire midfielder James Rodriguez. Currently in Al Rayan, Qatar, the Colombian has a great career achievement as the top scorer of the 2014 World Cup.

James Rodriguez joined Al Ryan in September 2021. He has signed an annual contract worth approximately R$40 million until the middle of 2024. In 15 games so far for the club, he has scored five goals and six goals. Al Rayan is in the 16th round of the Asian Champions League, but only eighth out of 12 teams in the national championship.

The Colombian, who is currently recovering from an injury, has already said he does not plan to stay in Qatar for a long time and has also established clauses in his contract that facilitate his return to Europe . About MLS, nothing was told.

Inter Miami, Beckham’s team, is coached by former English player Phil Neville. The team has two Brazilian players: former midfielder from Bahia and Santos Gregor and Jean Mota. The team is ranked 12th out of 14 MLS Eastern Conference teams after ten games.

James Rodriguez made his debut in Envigado, Colombia and played for Banfield, Porto, Monaco, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Everton before Al Ryan. He turns 31 in July.
