Sawalha posted a statement on social media indicating she was told a week ago that she was not desired for the sequel. “The explanation they gave is that my voice now seems ‘too old’ and they want a young actress to reprise the position.”

Sawalha’s protest follows reviews that Mel Gibson, who voiced the character of daredevil rooster Rocky, would not be associated in the sequel. While Rocky is named as a character in the official plot synopsis for Hen Operate 2, the job is thanks to be recast.
