Former world number one tennis player Serena Williams has received an invitation to Wimbledon and will return after a year’s break in doubles at the Eastbourne International.
Serena, 40, hasn’t played on the tennis circuit since her first-round elimination due to injury at Wimbledon last year, but the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) announced she is one of six women to receive invitations to the London Grand Was one. Slam.
