The United States remains the main attraction in the tests swimming in the olympics. Caeleb Dressel, Blake Pieroni, Bowen Becker and Zach Apple won the men’s 4x100m relay final and won gold for the USA at the Tokyo Aquatic Center this morning. Italy won silver with Alessandro Miresi, Thomas Secon, Lorenzo Zazzeri and Manuel Frigo and Australia won bronze with Matthew Temple, Zack Inserti, Alexander Graham and Kyle Chalmers.

Brazil, represented by Breno Correa, Pedro Spazzari, Gabriel Santos and Marcelo Chiarighini, was eighth, the final team in the decision. Marcelo, who closed the relay, spoke about his performance in competition at the Tokyo Olympic Games.

It’s hard to say something wrong. You have to do it immediately. Teams got better, we got worse. We were expecting improvement. We did our best today, knockouts too. “Unfortunately, we are far below what we thought we had and what potential we have,” he told SporTV.

Canada was in fourth place; Hungary on Thursday; In sixth place was France and in seventh place was the Russian Olympic Committee.
