Tom Brady leaves retirement, announces return to NFL - 03/13/2022

Tom Brady’s retirement was short-lived. Just a month after announcing his retirement, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announced on social media that he was back and would be playing the 23rd season of his career.

“In these last two months I have realized that my place is still on the field and not in the stands”, he says in part of the post. He claims that he is loved by his peers and gets support from his family – this combination makes everything possible. “I’m back in Tampa for my 23rd season. Business unfinished,” he concludes.

The 44-year-old owns several NFL records, the American Football League in the United States. Even after the announcement of retirement, his team did not ask for a new name for the post. The player even said that he is contemplating a return to the pitch.

Brady will play for the Florida franchise for a third season after spending 20 years with the New England Patriots. In total, he has seven Superbowl titles, one of several records to his name in league history.
