WhatsApp: New function should be last seen for specific contacts

WhatsApp users will have another privacy feature. The company has been working on an option to hide “last seen” from specific contacts for the past few months. Functionality now available for testing WhatsApp Beta for Android and iOS.

This information was released by the exclusive portal WABetaInfo. According to him, these tests are final before the privacy feature is made available to the general public.

For those who want to use the option in the beta version, in the “Last seen” settings, the user will have to select the “My contacts except…” tab. Next, you need to indicate which contacts will not be able to know when you last filed the application.

“If you don’t share your last seen, you won’t be able to see other people’s last seen,” the company explains.

Therefore, the new configuration is two-way, the contact you do not allow to finalize your visa will not have the same information available. However, there is still a predicament to release the functionality to the stable public.
