After years of rubbish, Colby Quington and Tyrone Woodley will face off on Saturday night. Former teammates meet at the main event of the UFC Fight Night at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas.
Covington (15-2) won seven fights in their latest bout, a title shot against bitter opponent and welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. Covington will lose the fifth round after that battle with Nakaya Byt, one of the best fights of the 2019 Games. He has been out for nine months and now looks right against former champion Woodley.
Woodley (19-5-1) lost the welterweight title to Usman by a unilateral decision two days ago. Another disappointing loss came when Gilbert Burns fired Woodley in May. Woodley has vowed to go against Covington after word of mouth from the media since Woodley’s time as champion.
The six-fight main card runs on ESPN + 5pm ET + 5pm
