The beta version of Apple’s mobile operating system iOS 15 will be available in June, and will be released to everyone in the fall. It became known that its users would be able to keep a diary of food consumption using the iPhone.
Noted insider Connor Juice announced this on his Twitter account.
Juiss has written that the new operating system for Apple smartphones is expected to update the built-in health service. He did not provide a screenshot, but assured that he had seen iOS 15.
It is not yet clear how widespread this feature can be. This will likely help users record the foods they consume, provide detailed nutritional information, and track calories consumed. It is not known if users will need to enter all the information manually or if Apple is working on some sort of food database.
Food control apps have been present in the marketplace and app store for a long time. On the iPhone, third-party applications can be linked to health and track your total activity and calories in one app. Typically, food data is scanned by a product barcode or entered manually.
Also, according to Juissa, iOS 15 is expected to:
- Update night mode;
- iMessage app improvements;
- Redesigned notifications and important UI changes.
Earlier, Strana reported that Huawei will introduce an optional Android and iOS operating system HarmonyOS next week.
We also wrote that in late April, Apple showcased a new iPad Pro with a mini-LED display.
