India Vanuire Museum promotes teacher training project

The action is held twice a year and works on a variety of topics that can help education professionals in the classroom

India Vanuire Museum, an institution of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of the Government of the State of So Paulo, managed by ACAM Portinari, twice a year, a training project for teachers, which aims to work on various reflections and cross-cutting themes. Topics with education professionals to promote awareness.

This month, the meeting took place virtually through the Google Meet platform, and was attended by 32 teachers from public schools in the state. The history of the foundation and the development of Tupi and its cultural diversity were the highlights of the chat.

Between March and May, the plan featured a series of videos about the institution’s exhibition module, in addition to the self-narrative exhibition Ato Jagi Burum Kraenk – Weaving the Knowledge of the Kraenk People.

The objective of this project is to use cultural heritage as an essential support for the educational process and social development, to enrich the curriculum content of teachers and to put into practice the knowledge acquired in the classroom.
