Despite US President Donald Trump’s reluctance to accept defeat from Joe Biden in the November 3 presidential election, Melania Trump, the first lady, is personally planning her life after the White House. Melania “just wants to go home,” CNN reported Wednesday.
Sources close to Melania told CNN that she is preparing to relocate the family’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida.
Several reports have claimed that President Trump is busy renovating his Florida home and may leave the White House on the opening day when President-elect Biden is sworn in as the new President of the United States. Trump has yet to publicly concede defeat, and it remains to be seen whether he will leave the White House before January 20.
According to CNN, Melania is focused on moving away from the White House And secretly sending Florida and Trump properties to York. Trump-Melania’s son Baron is said to be completing his school year in Florida.
Melania is also looking at ways to create her own image after leaving the White House. There is speculation that Melania will write a book on the history of White House hospitality after leaving the White House.
“Melania is in meetings to write a memoir of her White House,” an insider told Page Six.
“And it will be his money – a chance for him to earn it himself. I was told that her husband was ‘encouraging’ her to write a book. She didn’t, or she’s just as quiet as you might expect. Also, given the betrayal of Stephanie Winston Volkoff, on both print and secret tapes, Melania’s story could be of great value.
