Marvel has built a vast legacy with its expanding cinematic universe, adding to the strength of the brand and its unforgettable characters.
Unfortunately, many of the great actors and actresses who helped make this beautiful story have already left us, some of them have left an even greater void in our hearts.

Many of these big stars have gone and many fans didn’t even know they were gone, so we’ve listed some Marvel actors who have passed away.
Actor Gary Shandling has several films on his resume, but he actually excelled in comedy and went on to become one of the greatest comedians in the United States.
You should remember him in the role of Senator Stern in the film Iron Man 2. Unfortunately he did not live for many years after the film, in 2016, Gary died at the age of 66.
Powers Boote has made a prolific career in cinema and on American television, interestingly in Marvel, he played the same roles in The Avengers and Agents of SHIELD.
He acted as the villain Gideon Malik, one of the leaders of the criminal organization HYDRA. Shakti died in 2017 at the age of 67.
Neil Fingleton had a very interesting career, he started as a basketball player, was one of the 25 longest men in the world and then became an actor.
Few people know he had lead roles, played the role of Vishal Mag in Game of Thrones and captured Ultron’s antics in the second Avengers movie, which unfortunately passed away in 2017 at the age of 36.
Bill Paxton was an extraordinary actor, so much so that he was present in great successes in the history of cinema, such as Titanic and Apollo 13 – from disaster to victory.
In Marvel, the actor played an important role in the SHIELD Agents series, where he played John Garrett, a SHIELD agent, who actually turned out to be an intruder of HYDRA. This big name in cinema left us at 61 in 2017.
Cliff Robertson had a respected career in cinema, but certainly everyone remembers him in his role as Uncle Ben in the first Spiderman film.
He was the actor who uttered one of the most influential phrases ever in superhero films: “With great powers, comes great responsibilities”. Cliff died in 2011 at the age of 88.
It is also inappropriate to cite Harry Dean Stanton for his small involvement in Marvel, the actor awarded in his career, being part of the jury at the Venice Film Festival.
But he also contributed to superhero films, playing the role of a security guard, who interacts with Bruce Banner in the first Avengers film.
Perhaps Marvel fans don’t even want to remember that the Daredevil film existed, but we can’t forget the legendary actor Michael Clarke Duncan, who played the role of the kingpin in the film.
He had a very versatile career in cinema, acted in the production of the most diverse genres, unfortunately he died in 2012 at the age of 54.
Of course, everyone knows of the demise of our eternal Black Panther Chadwick Boseman, but we were required to list him as a tribute.
The actor died in 2020 at the age of 43, a victim of cancer, as an encouragement to his latest film The Supreme Voice of the Blues, is on Netflix, and may be posthumously awarded the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor is.
