Vijay Mallya was once considered the richest man in India

Vilay Mallya, 68-year-old Indian businessman is best known for owning a replica of the White House built on top of the Kingfisher Towers in Bangalore, India.

The extravagant property is worth US$20 million (about R$102.5 million). However, despite the huge investment, Mallya is not able to enjoy his mansion due to pending legal issues in his home country.

In addition to his business activities, Mallya is known for his involvement in the world of sports. He was the owner of the Force India Formula 1 team, which reached fourth place in the Constructors’ Championship in 2016 and 2017.

He is also passionate about cricket, India’s most popular sport, and currently owns Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), a team that competes in the country’s top cricket league.

The tycoon’s life and business inspired a biography and Netflix series called “Bad Boys and Billionaires.”

The production portrays the story of Indian millionaires involved in cases of greed, fraud, and corruption, as described by the streaming platform.
