The visit comes as talks between Tehran and the main powers (the United States, Russia, China, France, Germany and the United Kingdom) resumed in Vienna to save the Iranian nuclear deal.

The emirate, which shares Israel’s opposition to Iran, remains an important economic partner of the Islamic Republic.
