We have recently informed the players that It was planned to phase out the PlayStation store for PS3 and PS Vita devices This Brazilian winter.

After further reflection, however, it is clear that we made the wrong decision here. So today I am happy to say that we will be running the PlayStation Store for PS3 and PS Vita devices. PSP functionality will be disabled as planned on July 2, 2021.

When we first decided to end the purchase of support for PS3 and PS Vita, it was born out of many factors, including business support challenges for older devices and more focus our resources on new devices Capacity is included where most of our players continue to play. We now see that many of you are incredibly passionate about being able to buy classic games on the PS3 and PS Vita in the near future, so I’m glad we have found a solution to continue the operation.

I am glad that we can keep this part of our history alive for players’ enjoyment, as we continue to create new cutting-edge game worlds for the next generation of PS4, PS5 and VR.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us – we are always listening and we appreciate the support of our PlayStation community.
