Defence minister Rajnath Singh, who arrived in Ladakh on Friday early morning, reported that talks are underway to resolve the border dispute with China in Ladakh, but stopped limited of offering any ensures on the resolution. However, Singh underlined that not an inch of our land can be taken by any electricity in the environment.
India and China have held many talks around the earlier couple of months, even activating the Exclusive Representatives Team to take care of the problem.
“Talks are underway to take care of the border dispute but to what extent it can be fixed I cannot assurance. I can assure you, not a single inch of our land can be taken by any energy in the world. If solution can be uncovered by talks, there is practically nothing better,” explained Singh.
On Thursday, reflecting on the disengagement system among the two armies along the Line of Precise Manage (LAC), the military reported it is an “intricate process” and “requires consistent verification”.
