The 2021 season is over for Nathan, and the player has plenty of reasons to celebrate. Loaned by Coritiba to San Antonio FC from the United States, the 22-year-old forward had his first overseas experience, where he collected positive numbers.
Nathan scored 13 goals in the USL Championship, one of the top leagues in American football. A Western Conference finalist, he was San Antonio FC’s top scorer in the competition, and was also the Brazilian who rocked the most of the net. Passage ended in the United States with 37 games, 15 goals and five assists.

“Personally, it was the best year of my career so far. I had a good streak of games, which is very important. I managed to score goals and help the team. We lacked the USL title we came close to winning, but that is part of football. Gratitude to San Antonio FC for this opportunity”, the athlete highlighted.
Back in Brazil after ending his loan with San Antonio FC, Nathan wants to take advantage of his time off to enjoy his family. The player also starts thinking about the next season while recharging the energy.
“2021 was a very good year, and I hope 2022 will be even better. I will work hard for this. Now is the time to relax, enjoy family, return with new energy”, he concluded.
