Sao Paulo, January 7, 2021 – An environmental policeman is stunned by the mysterious presence of a wife, a fire and a pink dolphin on a beach in Rio. At first, it may not make sense, but it is all intertwined in Netflix’s new original Brazilian series, SIDED Invasive. What if the legends you always hear about are real and hidden between us? With its premiere on 5 February, the plot, which has just won an official trailer and poster, is the first live-action project by Carlos Saldanha, with the Brazilian director nominated for an Oscar and the animated franchise A Era do Geltai of Rio Also known. About Carlos Saldanha
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Saldanha is a director / producer, twice nominated for an Oscar and the founder of Producer Boycap Productions (United States) and Boipeba Films (Brazil). He co-directed Ice Age (2002) and Robots (2005), as well as the Oscar-nominated short animated film Scatus Lost Adventure (2004). He also signed under the direction of A Era do Gello 2 (2006) and A Era do Gello 3 (2009). In 2011, he created and directed Rio a love letter to his motherland, which became a huge success worldwide and it won the sequel Rio 2. Recently, Rio director animation director O Toro Ferdinando (2017), nominated for two Oscars.
