Windows 11 Preview Updated with Improved Design for Notifications, Focus Assist and more

Windows 11 Preview! Microsoft released the first version download (22000.51)

Starting with Notification Center, we now have the Focus Assistant, which lets you hide visual distractions while playing games or watching something full screen on your computer. This feature is already present in Windows 10, but was still missing in Windows 11.

The new build of Windows 11 Preview also brings a new design to the hidden icon space that now has rounded corners that are already found throughout the system interface in this new version. Microsoft warns that display errors may occur for this item, in which case it is advisable to switch between active themes in the system settings.

More details in this build include calendar tweaks and new animations in the Microsoft Store, new visual alerts for taskbar icons, and bug fixes already found in previous versions.

Shipping of the new version began on a sequential basis to Insider Program members earlier this week, so it may take some time before it becomes available to everyone. Lastly, this is still a trial version with known issues, so it is not recommended for everyday use.
