WhatsApp: New feature promises to speed up voice messages

WhatsApp oferece ferramenta para enviar e receber dinheiro

WhatsApp intends to release a new function, which should speed up first and second hand audio messages, such as in the case of forwarded audio. The option is still being tested and if it is evaluated well, users who do not like listening to long audios and with multiple pauses, will be able to move at a speed of 1.5x or 2.0x.

According to WABetainfo, the instant messaging app will also make web beta programs available for iOS and Android beta customers. This was due to an announcement made a few weeks ago that would allow end-to-end encrypted audio and video calls to your open web application (computer).

This week, WhatsApp dropped support for the iPhone 4s and now requires iOS 10 or higher to function without potential errors. Although it is still in the testing phase, the important thing is that new development will be launched.

WABetaInfo also said that the platform will open a new beta program for web, desktop and portal versions of Messenger. In this new service, the user’s phone does not need to be connected to the Internet, and can also use a maximum of four devices in a single account.

Other applications, such as Facebook and Telegram, are trying to get into new projects to ensure practicality and greater benefits on their platforms.

For example, Facebook is running after resources that can include voice messages in their applications to compete with the clubhouse, which has recently stood out. On the other hand, Telegram recently updated its application by introducing the voice chat 2.0 feature, which is similar to the clubhouse.

In the new version of Telegram, it is possible to increase the audio speed from 1x to 2x. That is, if the user needs to listen to the 6 minutes of audio that someone has sent, then using this new option, it will take “only” 3 minutes to access all the audio content.
