America now requires the use of masks on all public transport coronaviruses

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States issued a general order demanding the use of masks on almost all forms of public transport nationwide to protect against the spread of Kovid-19.

The order, issued on Friday night (29), includes Travel by plane, train, bus, taxi, ride, subway, ferry and boats.

It is an extension of one of the first executive orders signed by President Joe Biden, which required the use of masks for interstate travel as part of a broader strategy to reduce the spread of coronoviruses.

The new order, which also covers travel within each state, takes effect at 23:59 local time on Monday (1).

“Wearing masks in our transportation systems will protect Americans and convince them that we can travel safely again even during this epidemic”.

“Therefore, the need for masks will help us control this epidemic and reopen the United States economy,” the agency said.

Failure to comply will result in a “violation of federal law”. People using masks are allowed to eat, drink or take medicines, as well as for those who communicate with the hearing impaired.

The United States has the worst figures on Kovid-19 in the world – More than 430,000 deaths and about 26 million infected. The number of cases and hospitals has decreased in the past two weeks, and some experts more and more follow measures to wear masks and social distances in this part.
