this Tuesday, flamengo Announced an agreement with global sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE to promote the club’s digital presence internationally. Gustavo Oliveira, Vice President of Communications and Marketing at Rubro-Negro, gave details about the new partnership:

This will certainly increase our popularity and engagement outside the country, expanding our name and business prospects to many other locations across the globe – said Gustavo Oliveira.
As part of the relationship, the partnership includes the development of the club’s international operations, an English-language digital audience, commercial sale of properties and services, as well as live experiences and events. The partnership will focus on English-speaking countries, particularly the United States.
SPORTFIVE provides sponsorship, digital marketing and media solutions to a broad group of large clients around the world and aims to “give Flamengo a team of dedicated professionals based in New York and Hamburg,” according to the club’s statement.
