That was in 1989 … when Prince Charles lived with his wife Diana and Camilla with her husband Andrew Parker Bowles. But it was funny in 1989 that he also got caught up in another phone call with James Gilbey. The world heard when Diana told James that Charles was making her life a living hell and that she was feeling anxious and empty, and that James was calling Diana my darling.
But even though Diana and Charles parted ways, Camilla and Andrew parted ways, and Charles and Camilla later married, her friend Howard Hodgson said the phone calls she had with Camilla that day were still Annoys Prince Charles.
Hodgson said Charles was still ashamed of the humiliation he had inflicted on his mother, the Queen, and was deeply saddened by the pain it had caused his children and Camilla’s children.
