After mentioning worrying statements from 4-star US admiral, former NATO commander, presidents and prime ministers of first world countries such as England and France, indicating that foreign authorities are trying to decide on Brazil’s future, expert in security and foreign relations in the debate on national sovereignty in the 21st century and Brazilian Navy reserve officer Robinson Farinazzo, in a hearing of the National Defense Commission, mentioned that Brazil needs to prepare because there could be some very serious situation coming.
The expert also said, in an empty auditorium that perhaps reflects the Parliament’s little interest in issues related to national security, that the United Nations had almost approved a resolution that could have put Brazil in serious danger, beginning an international intervention, as was done in Iraq and one of the countries that prevented it from continuing was Russia.
