A resident of Connecticut, US, was recognized last week as the woman with the biggest mouth in the world, according to record books.

According to the official measurements of Guinness World Records, 31-year-old Samantha Ramsdale went viral on social media because of the size of her mouth – the lateral opening has 6.52 cm.
Ramsdale, who maintains a very active TikTok profile, said that the idea to sign up for the record book came from his own followers.
The American said in an interview with record book organizers that knowing he had beaten the record, he noticed a trait that made him vulnerable in another way.
“Being 31 and being able to get a record for something that made me so insecure, that I tried to hide it, is great because it’s one of the best things I have right now,” Ramsdale he said.

During her childhood and adolescence, she reported experiencing several episodes of bullying by other children who called her “Fish Mouth” among other nasty nicknames.
“If I can give any advice to someone who has a unique trait and wants to strive for the record, do it! Do it with pride. It’s your superpower that makes you special and different from the rest.”
In his social media profiles, where Ramsdale makes jokes and challenges, including the shape of his own mouth, he has over 1.7 million followers.

The youngest record holder also interacted with the video of Isaac Johnson, who received equal recognition for being the man with the largest mouth in the world.
